This was done for my photography class. We had to take images in black and white, highlighting compositional elements such as light, contrast, texture, etc.
I've had this dude hang around my room for a while, so i decided to put him to good use. The photoshoot was rather fun, and this is the result. I know it's not the most original idea ever, but i felt compelled to reproduce something like this.
Suggestions: It has been suggested to reshoot and have the 2 shadows point in the same direction. I only realized this when it was mentioned to me. Until then, i just wished that the shadows were more similar, rather than one darker than the other. This can be taken in different ways and even add something to the picture. I will keep these suggestions in mind, along with any that you throw at me in your comments, which are greatly appreciated of course, just like all feedback i get
This is excellent, taking a photography class myself soon; hope I can make something as good as this
I actually think it would be better looking if the shadows are facing opposite directions, increases the mirror feeling, that's just me though. Opposite sides of the glass, baby.
indeed pretty conceptual.
but somehow i m not comfotable with the shadow of Robot...is asking for more accurate shadowcast...
contrast and all are kewl

That's really something! Such a great concept, a real meaning...altogether an incredible shot. I hope I can do just half as well as this when I take photography classes.
ah, wow, this is great... like, seriously, the idea and originality of this is really good, like, it's so different from what the usual is, and it's so cooL!
I love the way they're reaching, at first I thought it was a mirror ...but, yeah, that's really cool, the shadows are great and are a great addition to the whole thing... good contrast with the lighting too
the B&W works well for this because it helps to focus on the lighting and shadows...
haha, and office space rules

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
