Alpha 1: command, we have a visual of the target...



Alpha 2: sensors are picking up surface activity in the three nearby planets, their cores are becoming unstable...



Alpha 3: Sunglasses anyone?







So here it is, cosmic frostbite 2, the result of 4 days of work, experiment, successes and failures.

used 3d studio max and photoshop

about 200 layers in photoshop (i shit you not)

and.....i need more ram!! (computer memory)



3 source files were created.

The frostbite effect is amazingly epic.

It's pretty much just an abstract effect. There are tons of tutorials on how to make stuff like that. You might even like some better!

I've learned to be more effective since then, hehe. Although I do tend to merge layers together a lot more. I think that if I didn't do that, then I would probably be up there =P

it is an amazing image..sensory overload!!feel like i need to soak my eyes and brain in water after looking at it, so was the whole scene rendered in 3d studio max??
