Short description:

Enjoy.

Thorough Description:

So here is the result of 3 days of work on this. If you're familiar with my work, this might remind you of "cosmic ocean," a very similar deviation, but with beaches instead of a road, and with some fish here and there. This was originally going to be the second version, but i got another idea and decided to use a similar "theme" and leave out the whole ocean thing aside.

This is a long deviation because i tried to include a lot of things that are found in space, such as planets, galaxies, nebulae, comets, asteroids, stars, dust, and space ships. Needless to say, scales be damned (since all of this could fit in a very tiny spec of a galaxy).

The idea of starting the whole thing with an inverted picture was spontaneous, since i was testing sky transitions. When i saw it, the idea of "there is no upside-down in space" came to mind, so i left it there).

I did recycle some things, such as the big asteroid at the bottom and the planet rings.

Overall im pretty happy with how this turned out, I think it's one of my best works. The only thing i could think of spending more time on are the nebulae at the bottom half, but i have other stuff to take care of so i left them like that, which isn't too shabby.

Thank you for having a look at the deviation, reading my long description, and perhaps leaving a thought or 2. :)

This is an "art someone made" to promote a party here in my city.
So, you may feel like complaining with these people.

Anyway, astonishing job on this ;)

Really neat! Like the composition and it's quite realistic. Did you make a composite for the space images or draw it and add the road pics?

lol, this reminds me of a pair of Doctor Who episodes with planets in the sky (the Stolen Earth and Journey's End are their names I think :P)

Thanks! It was a built-in picture. Some stuff I made separately, brought in, and finished on this image (like the nebulae). Other stuff I had ready (like the asteroid).
