Prime Time 2 by dinyctis is yet another masterpiece from one of the true masters of the space genre. His composition is spot on, and this piece brings a spark of origniality to a somewhat overdone theme. Brilliant work, you should check it out and buy a print or two! (Selected by +ekud)

This is my birthday present, from me to myself 
So here it is, the poster version of prime time. but it doesnt resemble the other version much, so i decided to simply make it a second part of it.
Highlights: i finally moved away from the "satellite" type of spacecraft, and moved to a more sci-fi looking ship. It might not be as kick ass as some star trek fans would expect, but until i can learn to make greebles, i'll come up with these simple designs. It was a lot of fun to do, and i like the result a lot.
used 3d studio max for basic ship, particle, and planet renders, then added all the candy (glow, exhaust, colors) in photoshop (as usual).
